talk to your doctor and get a diet from him; learn how to eat healthy for life (make a lifestyle change) instead of a short term diet; keep a food diary to see where the calories are coming from and lastly watch what you eat.
fortunately, here in canada, companies have to put all the pertinent information regarding calories, fats, etc on the packaging of each food item. this helps you figure out what to buy and eat right in the grocery store.

I was about to say the same. the key it eating healthy, and for that, you need a doctor, and not a short term diet.
If you keep a food diary, the important thing it not to lie to yourself by saying for example "I don't write this candy down because it was only one"
Good luck with it!

My sister eats only less than mine,, but she is really that chubby girl I wanted to...I wanna try going to the gym,.but it takes me a lot of time , money and effort. because many have told me that eating is the best solution. My Mom has been on this 500 calorie diet of salad and water but she also takes this pill and drops called stevia and she has lost almost 40lbs and well she has tried everything from jenny craig to nutrisystem and well she found that this works you can get stevia at the gnc stores. Worth a try right. its kinds a strict diet so you have tostick with it and that can be the hard part for alot of people but she is doing it

Be sure to burn out those extra calories by the end of the week. If you feel that you have consumed more calories than you should have during the week, it happens you know, and then make sure that you work off those extra calories by the end of the week.

Sorry to hear that people have made fun of you, I really do not like people who do this. I put on a lot of weight after getting a contraceptive rod put in my arm and I have now lost it thankfully.
The way I did it was not to go on any diets or anything like that... all I did was cut right back on what I was eating, and not eat too many snacks during the day. The other thing I did was to make sure that I did not eat after 6pm in the evening, if I felt the need to eat after that time then I would have myself a bowl of cereal. Make sure that you include seomthing that gives you a good source of fibre in your diet as well, as this helps your body to digest your food easier. Also another tip is to drink water and plenty of it, as it can fill you up, so you can resist the urge to eat when really you know that you shouldn't. But a lot is to do with will power. I also will say that I did no exercise either, and still dont, so for you with your cheerleading, if you can try what I have, then it is possible you could loose weight quicker than I did as your body is burning it off. I was a UK size 18 and I am now a UK size 14, so I dropped 2 sizes, and that is good enough for me.
I am not an expert or anything like that so please do not rely on what I have told you if you are not sure, but just remember us women need 1200 calories a day, so if you think about that then if you have anything over that, you would be going over what your body needs.

You don't have to abstain from food. You can just eat food with low calories. Exercise or move a lot to burn calories. Exercise a lot and eat lots of low calorie foods like fruits and vegetables. Snack on celery instead of a cookie.

I am glad you have the confidence to be a cheerleader. That is a very positive thing and it shows that you do have self-esteem. I wish I could tell you there is a diet secret but there isn't. The key to losing weight is consistency. If you eat less (even if it is a little less than you currently do) and regularly exercise you will lose weight. I gained 75 pounds when I was pregnant and learned the hard way that celebrity diets are just out there to take your money. I am now satisfied with my weight loss and am working on maintaining my current weight. Good luck...I know it is hard but you can do it if you put your mind to it.

Hi Mzbaybe!
First, lose weight for health, not because some people make fun of you. Those people are nothing, zero, pfft! They're not important. Don't pay attention to them. So what if you're fat now? They can laugh all they want. Next, diet and exercise are still the best. Do it daily. My son used to be fat and slow but I encouraged him to move around a lot---walk, run a bit, jump some, martial arts sparring, play (especially basketball),and eat right. Just be active most times. You need not starve yourself. Just eat balanced. And do take rests and relaxation. Not knowing how to relax (too stressed out or pressured) will make you eat more. And have regular check ups. Never be discouraged---just do it.
