The Employee Mindset

Most Filipinos in Manila have been trained in the employee mindset--they study hard in school to have a good job someday. Chinese businessmen here are different--they've been trained from childhood to have, not a good job, but a good business someday. This goes on for years, and yet so few Filipinos get it. They stay in the comfort zone of saying, "We don't have enough capital, and we're not molded out to be businessmen."

Hi Cook. It is a shame that everyone all over the world isn't taught like the Chinese. If people would teach their own children to be strong in what ever they endure then the world might not be suffering from so much poverty and homeless people wouldn't be a problem. I have always wondered why people don't train their children to do this! It takes money to make money but if we all start out small we can always grow. With the blessings of God there is no limit in life! Hope you have a great day my friend!

hi there, Free Man! If more people were entrepreneurial, more people will be free men. And especially, if more in church were entrepreneurial, the church would have more money to do its ministries better! Hahaha! God gave us power to produce wealth. Have a great day, too!

online business. I and my coop members are into detergent soap retailing. we're also eyeing some offline ones--probably a small-time banana export.
