Temptation or Sin, what's the difference?

Temptation is something that seduces or the desire to have or do something that you know you should avoid or an enticement. On the other hand, Sin is an act that violate a law of God or a moral law. What is your opinion regarding this?

i think if your temptations are wrong and you are thinking weird thoughts then that is a sin in itself even if it's not acted on, it will be acted on eventually temptations are too hard to resist.. what is your temptation?
