it depends how your friend feels, if they are completely over it then why not? if they are not happy about it then fcuk them, they're obviously not good friends anyway to be so petty. it just depends how much you like the person, if you're really into them then go for it and if its a good friend you'll tell them how you feel about them. i wouldnt date them before you talked to your friend though

Yes that's my feeling, i wold have to ask my friend first. I don't think I would feel right with out asking first.

yeah i wouldnt nessesarily ask for 'permission' as its not like theyre your parents you can do what you want just ask how theyd feel and is upto you what you wanna do

Yes maybe permission is the wrong word. A back and forth of spoken words should do it.

I think it depends on the situation and the friend. Maybe you should ask the friend what he/she thinks.
