A lot of cars being manufactured nowadays are getting smaller in terms of engine size. This promotes lesser gas consumption and thus, is more eco-friendly. For some, this is good for city driving but for those who want to feel the speed and strength of their car, it is not advisable to use.
How about you, what is the size of your car? What do you prefer, a small or big car?

I prefer a small car, Its hard for me to manage a big car,,small car is less parking space and that will be more economical in gas consumptions that's right. And for girls I guess small car is preferable light and elegant or sporty looks.
Good day!

I definitely agree with you. With the increased cost of gas, it is more economical to use small cars. Girls generally don't really mind the speed for as long as the same purpose is served. Well, appearance also is a consideration, however, most cars now are sporty at the same time light and smaller in engine size. :)

I prefer SUV or MPV, because of they can gives me more good vision when I am driving and accommodate my family members. I think the big one should be more comfortable for long distance travelling. If only for the driving in the down towns the small car is the first choice.

Yes, I agree with you that when you are driving around the city, small car is a preferable choice. Here in our country, we experience a lot of slow traffic during peak hours and it is very inefficient to bring large cars as it consumes so much fuel. You are not just wasting the precious fossil fuel, you are also wasting a lot of money when you bring large cars during office days. :)

I prefer vans or 4 by 4's. Gives me a good vision when I'm driving, especially when in traffic.

I would say I am a medium size vehicle kind of person. A four door family style car with a sport twist. I also like my pick up truck, I can not get rid of my pick up truck.

Pick up trucks are very useful in moving things and some long travel and I think it is really hard to get rid of your truck :)

neither big nor small its something in between which i personally prefer since am single and to accommodate my friends in the car. The size can be medium and not big and small. But, if small or big choice is the only two options i will go for big.

You have a point there. Actually, it size really is a small factor and it is by choice of user on what he or she really likes. It may also depend on the needs, if they have small or big family.

I would prefer to have a big car but with a small engine. This is because I really want to have a feeling as if I am driving a luxury car but the fact that the engine is small and I can still afford the road tax and insurance.
Currently my car is 1.5 and it is in a moderate size which is very affordable to be used. It doesn't consume a lot of petrol and the road tax is cut into half because in my country cars with 1.6 and below are given a half priced road tax. My car's insurance is also low. My car is nice to look at and I like it's double light which to me looks elegant.

medium sized sedan. Big and comfortable enough for the whole family. Sure it drinks up more fuel that my previous mini car, and I miss the ease of fitting even the smallest parking, but hey, comfort and safety comes first now in my book!

Hi, iristacey. We have an old model 1980s Oldsmobile car. It is a good size for a family of five. But, I prefer for us to have an mid sized car that would fit all five family members in it. Something like an SUV or a mini van, Pathfinder, would be a great choice for us. I don't want my car to be too big. But just big enough for everyone.

well, i don't have a car yet. but in a few months, i'm getting one. i don't know if it's qualified as small or big though. as it is bigger than a conventional car, but not as big as bigger vehicles such as the land cruiser. it's just gonna be handed down to me, so i don't get to say which car i want. not that i'm complaining though.
if given the choice, i would want a small car. i like the appearance of it because it's more girly and cute. i would want to have a VW beetle or a honda jazz. but i also like big cars. when it comes to big cars, i would choose a ford expedition or a toyota land cruiser.

you know there's something about cars that fascinates me. one of them is its size. i mean the cute looking models are the smaller ones but that's basically it. it's good only for show and not for comfort. i don't know about many people but a crowded vehicle is a big no-no for me. am a little claustrophobic. on the other hand there is something quite daunting and a little boring with big cars but this is where comfort of passengers is assured because of its ample leg room, right? i'd say those who can really afford it says it in the size of their cars.

I prefer a larger car. I have nothing against small cars but to have good fuel economy, I have to sacrifice space, comfort, and some power. Now, there are some cars that can make this balance, but because of my size, I do not like being cramped in a car. Small cars do not take rough roads well. And what if someone crash into it with something bigger? I do like the Mini Cooper because it is insanely fun to drive (handbrake u-turns). I don't like the Smart car (I can pick one up if I need to change a flat tire, I have actually picked one up with the sales rep inside). However, on the other end, I don't not need a zip code on wheels. I don't not need all of that space. I would go as large as a Pontiac G8 (ideal for me, Damn YOU GM for stopping this). I don't drive that much, so I am not concerned about fuel economy.

We have four vehicles. A small convertible, a subcompact, a small station wagon and a pickup truck. I have needs and wants for each of them. The subcompact and the small station wagon are good for grocery-getters, the subcompact we use for trips because of its great fuel mileage and comfort, the pickup is good for taking things to the dump and the small convertible is really great for when we just want to go for a drive and have fun. I take care of all of them and could get in any of them and go anywhere at any time and for any reason and enjoy it. I have found a product that I use that has increased our fuel mileage on these vehicles from 25% to over 50%, and use it always. If anyone would like to find out more you could Private Message me and I will send you a link where you can check it out. Happy Motoring.

I like mid size cars myself as they aren't too big or too small. As far as the engine goes, I like a 6 cylinder/V6 as it usually has a lot of pep, yet it still gets decent gas mileage at the same time.
