Sometimes the latest model of the handset you currently enjoy will be just as good. In general if I'm happy with a phone and it breaks, I upgrade to the latest model. It gives enhanced performence, and the same old features you know and love. Generally its just as reliable if not more so, and you have most of the old features you love, plus new ones spsific to the phone itself. I like that personally.

Sony ericsson P990i is very good. I enjoyed the phone for almost 1 year and a half until the flex was busted as well. The touch screen is not functioning anymore and the scroll key on the side loosen. I dump the phone and choose nokia e72. Though it is not a touch screen, it has wi-fi, 5mp camera and HSUPA. Very elegant and has qwerty pads as well. I am enjoying it because it is very user friendly and has a lot of features. I would definitely recommend the E72 nokia.
