Hostel Life! How was yours?

As I was walking to uni this morning, I though how nice it would be if I was still staying in the hostel. I've had really good memories there. In my unit, there were 8 people, all of theem were my seniors. We came from a great mix of races and also age, all from different courses. I remember that my room mate was taking MBA, one in business degree, another one was in electrical engineering, 2 were in ACCA, one was AUSMAT, one more was in hospitality and I was taking a foundation programme. I was the youngest there and the oldest was a guy who was taking electrical engineering who was around 30+, balding and unfriendly for the most part. We had a really cool common area which was the living room. We had a drum set (yes, you read it correctly, an awesome drum set), a tv, xbox 360, an electrical guitar with amp, a classical guitar and an acoustic . It was pretty awesome. We would jam in the evening though, wouldn't want to disturb the other denizens of the hostel. I could go on and on about what happened during that time but lets hear some of your awesome stories, anybody could match up to mine?
