I don't remember the title of this movie... any help?

bwaybaby, I think the movie's title is Gremlins, which is about a lovable but mysterious exotic pet brought home from Chinatown becomes the source of a slew of miseries for an American suburb when the "Mogwai's" owners disobey a few basic precautions and help spawn a host of evil creatures. The movie is more of a fantasy comedy with a little touch of horror. I hope this is the movie you are looking for.

It's horror right,maybe it's Gremlins-they are weird but cute animals, but really dangerous..maybe I'm wrong..but it was in the 80s too.

Could it be Rockadoodle? It's a half-animated movie; I think a boy turned into a cartoon cat in it. That sounds so weird, but it's the only movie I could think of that fits your description. w

Hmm, this sounds strange. I can't place it at all. Do you by chance remember what kind of animals or anything else about the movie to go off of?
