is the idea of penpal dead nowadays? i used to have penpals in the US and the UK, though it's sad that we were not able to sustain our communication. i eagerly waited for our postman to deliver those letters. this was already during the start of the internet and emails, but we still opted to write letters and send pictures to one another. however, since there is social networking sites, i don't know if writing to penpals via snail mail is still appealing. any thoughts on this? are you still interested in penpals and writing them letters? or are you content in communicating with people all over the world using the internet and social network sites?
