How did your week start?????

OMG Gabs.... My week started out with a HEARTY LAUGH!!! I thought I was the ONLY one who did such idiotic things!!! I looked for my keys for over an hour the other day & they were in my left hand. (I'm right handed) (AAARRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!)

It's always good to remember to check the plug! My week started just about an hour ago. I woke up to terrible a wild beastie growling... turned out to be my husband, snoring. Once I found my earplugs, I tried to get back to sleep but felt something crawling on my arm. That turned out to be another TICK! Oh, how I hate those creepy bugs!!!!!! Luckily, it's Memorial Day here in the States and all the stores are having huge sales. I'm going out in a little while to buy some stuff to spray on the lawn that is supposed to kill these nasty little bloodsuckers. I did that last year and noticed a significant decrease in the tick population as well as the spider and ant populations as well! I really don't like using chemicals but this is an exception... I'll do anything to keep those nasty bugs out of my house and off ME!

Wake up at 5:30 AM/ Browse for some news. Post here in mylot. Take a bath at 5:45. Then post some more at mylot. Then eat my breakfast. Then go to my work at 6:30. My shfit is 8 AM and I'm living in a place far from my workplace.

I often have the same problem with my kettle and toaster. A quiet start to the week so far but will change soon. Take care.

Oh Gabs sweetheart that was so funny! Sorry for laughing but you put a smile on my face and I can sure do with that right now, two good things that have started my week off well, the cool temperature, bank holiday and now your hairdryer episode! I do not look forward to this time of the year as I hate the Summer with a vengeance nearly as much as I hate the month of June, I dread it, and here we are June tomorrow so I am going to enjoy the last day of May. truthfully, i had a pretty good start to the week as no work today !! I didnt have to get up early, i could have time in the garden , to catch up on my gardening. and my husband did the dinner !! How good is that !!

lol its started the same way as it has for the last two weeks with me with my head down the toilet joys of early pregnancy hey! its bank holiday today tho so no school so at least i could be sick without worrying they would be late :o) upside to everything and all that!

You must be from my side of the family! Tell me, when the power goes out do you have an uncontrollable urge to vacuum? Do you go into the bathroom and flip the light switch?? I have a hair dryer, but I don't use it on my hair. I use my hair dryer to start my fire in the fireplace. After the winter season the hair dryer gets put away until winter comes again. When I went to get my hair trimmed the person cutting my hair asked me if I had a blow dryer. I told them I did but didn't use it on my hair...the guy about fell over when I told him I used it on the fire in the wood burning stove. I have had fits at my stereo when it wouldn't work. I got really upset and then found out the same thing, that it was unplugged. My Mom used to have that problem frequently, including when she was vacuuming. She would try to start the vacuum and it wouldn't run. I'd hear her swearing and come running. I hate to say how many times I fixed the problem by plugging in the vacuum...and watched Mom get really red in the face from getting pi$$ed either at herself or maybe me. I never found that out. hi gabs awful just the pits,I was congested all night so could not get much sleep as my nose was almost shut, then my roommate who sleeps a lot in the daytime was up all night running to the bathroom and standing outside the door when I was in there mutteringto herself.ggr she says would you hurry up,now how the heck am I supposed to hurry up peeing? so I just got about one hours sleep, then I try to mylot today. She gets a message over the intercom she has a phonecall. I get up to go to the bathroom and she buzzs by me saying get out of my way, I have to go and I am saying back well damn I have to also. so she pushes me outof her way and I stand there trying to keep from wetting the floor. I am not a mean person but really when you gota go you gotta go. he he.Its ten pm now and she is snoring so maybe she will not be up all night and keep me up to. I have had to take several naps today and I am not one to nap in the day time. but I felt just awful. my rant for the day.love and hugs from hatley to you and my little man in the doggy suit Gissi.

Oh you had me fooled there... Well it is easier to dry hair here, since it doesn't get so cold and it's not humid. This time of year I hardly ever even use my blow dryer. I guess that's why they last so long for me. I'm on my second one - my whole life! Anyway, the week started with grocery shopping and a Memorial Day barbecue with the family.

My week started out okay for me. You made me smile Gabs but I relate because I have done the same thing myself! I had awful computer problems for a long while and I got so paranoid about it after it was fixed that one day I lost the plot completely when I had no Internet connection! My husband walked into the office and calmly turned on the router and there was my connection! You would think the router would be the first thing I would have checked before panicking! I think these incidents tend to happen more often when you are very stressed out and at a stage where one more thing would push you over the edge! You are not alone dear...

My week was fine so far until I had to experience not being treated well again by another person I was expecting to do me some favors. Grrr! I hate the way things are these days. There are a lot of people hurting me, I dont know if its just me or what.
