HI all, I am confused or just getting too old...........I used the term Tiger in a discussion and when I used mylot search for Toni the Tiger the old commercial for Kellog's Frosted Flakes Toni the Tiger did not even register on the internet !
GEEEZZZZ, where did Toni go ???
Do you think we have lost Toni :) ? Is it just old age ? or has Toni been forgotten??

Ha, ha, no your not getting too old. Toni the Tiger is still with us. He never grows old and neither do we if we eat his lovely cornflakes cover in extra sugar.
I just think he is on holiday with the chicken or cockeral bird from the original Kellog's cornflakes box.
Enjoy your breakfast.

I will tell you like the others that you just spelled it wrong. Toni would be feminine for the name. Here is a link to Wikipedia about him. Did you know he was Italian American? And in one of the Chinese New Year years of the Tiger he became Tiger of the year?

Of course He's Italian with a name like, Tony. But how can a cartoon character be Italian-American?

Hi, quita88. Yes, I remember Toni the Tiger. I loved eating the Frosted Flakes. I thought that the stores still sell this brand. Or maybe it is just another brand. My aunt loved eating these. As a matter of fact, my husband has some Frosted Flakes on the top of the refrigerator. But it is not made by Kellogg's it is made by Malt O Matic... Something like that..

"They're GR-EE-A-T!" No I remember the Tiger. Nowadays, if you type "cougar" you will probably get more links. Lol!

Tony hasn't been forgotten. I think the reason why the search failed is maybe because you spelled his name wrong. Here at my place Tony sometimes still appears in commercials. The tiger with red scarf around his neck, who could forgot him. "They’re Grrrrreat!" He reminds me a bit of Paddle Pop mascot. I forgot his name, but he is a lion.

Like the rest of us, Tony got old!!! Tony got fired for not being young & hip. Tony would have been 50 come 2011 & Kellogg decided it was time to put him out to pasture as he wasn't found interesting to the younger generation. I think Kellogg sabotaged Tony!!! Think about it...how many different ways can a Tiger say "It's GRREEEAAATTTT"??? He may not be a star any longer, but he'll NEVER be forgotten as long as I'm alive!!!

Oh, yes! I remember Toni the Tiger! I'm glad you mentioned him because I had forgotten about him, myself, lol! There's no telling what happened to him. I don't think it's due to old age since you're not the only one who had forgotten him. I hope you find him, lol.
