I was adopted in 1981 by a family in Wilmington Delaware. I was 9 months old. I really don't know a whole lot about my birth parents. I would love to meet them and know them but it's too expensive. I'd love to hear your story about adoption or if you have any ideas about a cheap way to locate a birth parent please share them.

Thanks I'll try that. I'm glad that your hubby found his biological father. And I'm sorry for your not knowing that your step dad wasn't really your dad. That sucks

I was adopted when I was only a few days old. I have a great mom and dad. I had a very happy childhood. My biological aunt found me when I was 22 yrs old.
We had some contact, I met her children and talked to her sister who was my birth mother. We talked on and off for a few years. And then after I had my daugher, we just kind of lots touch. They live so far away, it was hard to keep in touch.

Wow but at least you got to meet her. And her family. Good for you. I really wish I could find them.
