Hubby's 75 today

I am wading through this birthday with him. No one is making a big deal and I want him to know he is loved and appreciated by his family. As he gets older he is becoming harder to get along with, so the children tend to avoid him. This is a man who has one of the kindest hearts and will do anything to help someone, but it is harder and harder for him to be flexable and accept the fact that the world is changing and maybe some things are better then they use to be. But I am happy to say he is in good health and eats well, drinks very little and his bigest vice is
pushing people's buttons to see how they react. So as long as I can keep him from going to far when pushing things won't get to bad. So join me and wish him a happy birthday.

Although it is belated, I'd like to wish your husband a happy birthday. It is good to see that you are able to say so many great things about him. As far as the button pushing thing goes, I think that everyone likes to do this when they get older. I know that my grandmother loved to push and push and push and a couple of times she pushed me to the point that I was very hurt by what she had to say to me. However, I really miss her now.

HBD to Pat's Hubby!! I think we all get somewhat irascible as we get older and much more opinionated. He's blessed to have you at his side and it sounds as if you understand him very well. I hope his day is wonderful and that yours is, too!

Hi savypat, I will gladly join in wishing your hubby a happy 75th birthday and I'm pleased that he is still healthy. Sometimes it's difficult for older people to accept change. I've heard so many people talk about the good old days and how the new technology is ruining the world.If that's his biggest problem he's doing fine. I wish him good health and happiness for many years more years. Blessings.

Hi pat! And I would like to wish your Hubby and very happy and
healthy 75th Birthday! May he live many more happy and healthy
years and continue to drive you all crazy!lol I think that as
we all get older we get more difficult! I can see it with my
Mom who just turned 80, God Bless her and even myself! I find
it very upsetting that I am 57 and can't do simple things I used
to do with ease like walk down my hill to the store! And what
makes it worse is that my 46 years old bf can do it with ease!
Not a good thing for me~

I hope your husband’s birthday was a good one and that there are many more to come. It sounds as though you really love him warts and all and that is what it’s all about, to be loved for who you are, the good and the bad! Your hubby sounds like a lovely man and I can appreciate how difficult it is to accept how much the world is changing all the time, we may as well go along with it...Anyway Happy Birthday to your husband!

Happy Birthday to your hubby. He sounds alot like my Dad. who is 74. Not in pushing the button so much but not happy with the the way the world is changing. Maybe if your hubby drank more he would be more flexable. LOL! I hope he has a wonderful day.
