welcome to the wonderful world of mylot mz. this is a discussion network. people earn by responding on your discussion not on giving you pm. though it is in the rule not to post a recipe if it is not their originals. my wife is a good cook. we have pasta 4 times a week or twice a week. since we have a four year old son she put hotdog slices in the sauce. she also makes tuna pasta, and that one is chili hot that we can only eat. there is one more the carbonara style that she uses cream of mushroom as the sauce but she saute it with chicken strips. pasta is one meal that is easy to cook and everyone loves it. hope to see you more here at mylot and good luck.

myLot Guidelines state that we are NOT to post recipes. When I'm looking for a recipe, I go to the Food Network website & search under recipes. I've found some GREAT recipes there!!!

Sure! Being an Italian-American, I also LOVE pasta. One favoriet that came from my Grandmother is actually a pasta bake. You will need; Spicy Italian Sausage (about a pound) 1 Can of Tomates 1 can Tomatoe paste 1 box BowTie Noodles 16 Ounces Riccotta Cheese 8 ounces Mozarella Cheese Cook the sausage in a pan, like you would cook hamberger meat. Browning it completely. Drain well, then add canned tomatoes, and tomatoe paste, as well as three cans (use the tomaote paste can) of water. Boil water to cook the noodles (as per the instructions on the box) when they are completely cooked, drain excess water. In large pan mix the noodles, Riccotta, and half of the mazzarella until cheese melts. Layer a baking pan with the noodle/cheese mixture, spoon sauce over the noodles. Add remaining mazzarella cheese to the top. Cover with foil and bake at about 350 for about 30 minutes. Take the foil off and cook an additional 10 minutes, until cheese on top is melted. My family loves this dish, and hopefully yours will too!
