How do you get rid of dark scars?

I have lots of them on my legs because I had welts and I couldn't control the urge to scratch them. The welts blistered and when the blisters broke, my skin became raw. I think I'm going to have a lot of dark scars on my legs because this is what usually happens when the raw skin heals. Does anybody know of any remedy for dark scars that is readily available and is not very expensive?

There is so many remedies available in today's life however my grandmother used to tell me that house made remedies are the best ever so she said that for scars you put yoghurt, a table spoon of lemon pure juice without sugar and besan, its a flour sold in every supermarket even here in London it does, so you mix them very well, make it a paste and apply this every time till the scars fade by itself.

Thank you for sharing this home remedy. I want to try this, but I have yet to find out where to get some besan.

Hi there
Have you tried Bio Oil?
It really is very good, you just rub it in every day - it is quite expensive ( not sure where you are in the UK it is around £10) but it lasts ages.
I would certainly recommend it.
Try this website , it may help you getting the oil

I wish I could try this product, but it's not available in my country and yes, it's quite expensive. But thank you for letting me know about this product.
