Right now I am in a situation, my boyfriend got wrongfully arrested because his neighbor is a loon and claimed my boyfriend broke his finger. He has been in jail since thursday, he got screwed because it is memorial day weekend state holiday. I have never felt this way.
I think usually in love and a relationship, there is usually the ME factor, where you care and think about yourself and how things wills affect you. But right now I can think of is him, i miss him but i don't care about that, all I can think of is if he is okay at this moment, all I can think of is I know I have to be there for him. Have you ever just had that sort of love for someone, that you don't care about yourself or how things affect you, you just care only about them, about their feelings?

I think every parent feels selfless love to be honest. Your children don't give anything back to you in those early months, although they "love" you in a way, they don't feel that love in a proper way, it is just you are the provider of food and comfort to them but a mother and a father love them no matter what. It is completely unconditional love. I think a mothers love is completely selfless, a child can do anything to a parent (almost anyway!), and a mother will still feel love for them. I think even in the extreme if they do somethng horrible and terrible, a mother will always say "but she's my daughter and I love her no matter what".
I feel unconditional love for my husband, he can do anythiing and I would still adore him, he can annoy the hell out of me, he can do something completely stupid, he can say something horrible and I would still love him to pieces, and to break that love would be very difficult- if he was to leave me, I would still love him a great deal, and it would take me a long time to get over that love.
I think it takes a big thing to make you realise that unconditional love for a partner- for you it was your boyfriend going to prison for somehting he didnt do, for me my husband crashed his car very seriously- gladly he walked away without even a cut or bruise despite rolling the car down a ditch 3 or 4 times, and the car was a complete wreck. That made me realise I could have lost my husband that day and I think that was the wake up point never to take him for granted again.

My boyfriend is not in prison, he is just in jail, his arraignment is tomorrow.....I think that is very sweet that you have such unconditional love in your life. So many divorces and bad marriages in this country, its refreshing and great to know someone that is totally opposite of that. I am so happy for you that you got a great thing going on, and I hope that my and my boyfriend can build and grow this relationship up to what you have.

Yes. I had a dog. I only think about her feelings. Like will she get hungry or not, where will she sleep, is she snoring.
