hey hey hey! Just got home from work and I am so happy about my first day as an entrepreneur!
I will still work 40 hours a day but only for 4 days a week as a consultant
wahoo! more time for me!
and then spend 3 days off just mylotting, neobuxing, clixsensing, clockpaying, microworking, odesking etcetera etcetera
i should've done this a long time ago
that way i would've saved myself from all the grief
sunday is definitely my off
and then i'll just choose every week which days to take as my off days
so as an entrepreneur do you set schedules for yourself?

I am not a full time entrepreneur myself, yet, but I certainly hope to be one one day. And I definitely think those who are selfemployed or entrepreneurs should make schedules, at least in the beginning, so you know everything gets done. Excellent idea!

Hello chipes,
congratulations on being the first day entrepreneur.it's not easy being a business person, you will have long set of hours of work to keep the business running. that's one good thing of being a self-employed person but you need to prioritize which online paying site suits you the best. good luck with business anyways

i'm now in the business of being a consultant for businesses

online earnings are only a third of my earnings
:D
but i'll still do themon my rest days

I would set a schedule were I in your position, a schedule of what I had to accomplish that day. Maybe more like a to do list. Today I have to..write a report, post to a blog, visit this shop, blah blah blah.
Then just make sure everything gets done, if you give yourself a time line, you will probably be finished before your time is up, and have even more free time.
With Appreciation.

Entrepreneurs and home-based business owners should have effective time management skills because if not, then they would slack and become less productive. Good to know that you are happy with your new work!
cheers and happy myLotting!

I am still trying to find balance. As a freelance writer who writes for any number of sites (as well as doing other, private jobs), it is hard for me to strike the right balance in my schedule. I tend to focus in on one thing, work really hard at that and then other things slip. I will consider my life a success when I can manage it all and not feel guilty over anything.
Sounds like you have things under control. Good for you!

Awh congrats!!
well, as for setting up a schedule; I do set a timetable for my study & working life; but I end up messing things out especially if i receive urgent matters that have to be prioritized over other materials that I set it on!
Awh gosh, I wish if i could set a permanent timetable!!

I don't think that the role in life of being an entrepreneur is necessarily going to be an easy one for you or for anyone, however I do think that having the ability to be your own boss is the thing that draws a lot of people into it. Eventually I would like to be in the position that I will be able to work completely for myself and to be able to pick my own schedule so that I will be able to do more things with my children and such. They are the world to me and the reason that I do everything that I do in my life.
