OMG! i was shocked when i watched a video in youtube showing a two-year old boy taking cigarette and his parents are so bullsh*t giving cigarette to their innocent baby.. the video says, his father first gave the baby a stick of cigar when the baby was 1.5 years old.. it is unbelievable how this baby now take cigars as adults do. he can consume up to 40 STICKS A DAY......... . . oh common irresponsible IDI0T parents.... javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$cphMainContent$lbStart','')

I'm definitely shocked by this. I can't believe that these parents would just allow this. It's just plain stupid, if you ask me. If smoking is unhealthy for adults, then I think that it's safe to say that it's unhealthy for children, especially for toddlers. I'm just shocked by this. I can't believe some parents are doing this to their own child.

Ive seen that sam video. If they were in the USA the parents would be jailed and fined and the child taken away. I saw that chis father saying his son is healthy. I wonder how long he will be. At least if they allow him to continue he will be younger when he starts carrying around hes own oxygen.

Yeah I read that too, cannot imagine what kind of monster parents will introduce such a nasty habit to their toooo young child, even if parents are smokers they will usually tell their kids or would atleast wish that their children should not be a smoker like them, in this case its quite the opposite and now of course the child is addicted and nothing can be undone until he himself realises what he is doing is wrong, because when you advice a 12 year old if he is addicted he might understand but now this kid is only 2 year old so if we tell him he is addicted and he will just cry and throw a tantrum until he gets what he wants...

I saw the video of this child smoking. At first I thought it was a fake because I couldn’t believe it. Certainly these parents ought to be taken away from the child and taught what parenting actually entails! I read an article which stated that the authorities promised the family a new car if they got the child to stop smoking. I don’t know if this is true but I think these so called parents deserve nothing but to lose their son! Idiots!

It's odd how we always say "to each his own", and "don't judge me", and "Who are you to tell me, or someone else what is right and what is wrong". Then people turn around and attack others when they do something they don't like.

I was shocked too when I first heard this news on the radio. So shocked that I came home, found it online and started a discussion here about it. You can see mine here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2323478.aspx?p=1 It seems that great minds think a like my friend. It really is crazy and horribly sad that something like this can happen. As a parent of two children, it makes me really angry and sick.

i am glad that you are one of us who sincerely condemn this act.. yeah as parents, you should bring up your children to righteousness and smoking is a big no no. i know that some parents do smoke.. well, they are wrong, they should set as a good example if they want their child not to smoke.

For me they don't love his child because they want it to become popular and get in the genies book of record so that is but it's not a good habit to do in your child also.

I agree with the other myLotters that this is sick and disgusting. But I'm shocked that only the Indonesian parents were talked about. I looked for this video on myLot Search engine and found out about a Virginia Beach mother who filmed her two year old daughter smoking AND cursing and put it on Myspace. She's now in jail.

i have watched this on indonesia tv station yesterday. i think he is not an ordinary child. His smile just like adult person, he look so clever. i hope he will stop to smoke soon. Seto Mulyadi, person who is corcern about child problems in indonesia had meet this child, and Seto Mulyadi can divert this child mind so the child forget about the smoke shortly. If his mother do that forward, i'm sure that child will stop to smoke forever.

markleob, I suppose this is what it means when they say children picking up from adult parents. In the first place, the family or the parent or adult whom he is looking at and close to is a smoker and he just wanted to emulate it. During emulation, a habit grew and the rest of it you have it on Youtube. Sad, but this is what a lot of parents do not realize until it is too late. I just feel both pity and sad for that kid. Damn the parents for bringing this onto their child!

hi mylotters, this is very much disgusting issue i was so amazed upon watching the news. at first we never believed because of thinking that it was only manipulated thru computer experts. but it was really a real story ,its so impossible how a 2 years old baby became an addict smoker. the whole world destructively critisized the issue. and all of these things should be blamed on the parents who tolerate this act. the parents is supposed to be rehabilitated to be able to be awaken and be aware that they are the very person who is supposed to look upon for the beter future of thier children. if you are the parents of this baby how will you stop him from being an addict smoker..... thank you my lotters
