Error code 0x00000002: The system cannot find the file specified..WHAT IS THIS?

a friend consult me with this error this morning.
According to him, anytime he switch on, this message appears and never disappear even if she sent it away, it comes back...
What should be the solution for this problem?

The problem you encounter is sounds like a registry error. Try to download registry mechanic in the internet. Install it in your computer and run it. If this process did not help, try to post here the specified file that is missing.

It is most likely due to a file being deleted in error. The best fix I know is "system restore". That is if the operating system is Windows XP. Use system restore to return the computer to an earlier date and that should do it.
