stupid annoying nonsense

There are much more serious things going on in my life and in the world that I could rant about. I realize this. But sometimes when there are serious things going on, the annoying little things rankle just that much more.
Anyway, I started the car this morning and there was a message on the radio, "to renew your subscription, call 1-888-539-siri". Huh? A year ago I renewed for 3 years, so I am being deprived of my satellite radio because of some stupid glitch. Also, it means I will have to make a phone call, which I hate.
However, time to put on the big girl panties and pick up the darn phone and call. "Oh, your radio is just acting up, we'll send it an activation signal. Can you tell me if it's working?" "No, I can't, I'm on my work phone." "Well can you check it and call back?" "OK, sure."
Which is when she throws a sales pitch at me. "We have such and such special going, bla bla bla." I have already stopped listening to this, say the necessary words and hang up.
That's when I get the notifier that I have to get on a work call. Grumble. So I guess I won't be going out to check on it until lunch time. At which point, I hope I don't need to make another phone call.
Oh well, it's just stupid annoying nonsense that will soon be fixed if it isn't already. Have you had to deal with any stupid annoying nonsense today?

Yes, it's called caterpillars...they ate all my parsley. P*ssed me off so bad, I pulled up the cabbage, because it had done nothing but gone to flower. I pulled up the onions, because they weren't growing. And I think I probably overwatered the beans... Think I need a nap and then I'll try again, pulling weeds.

I'll call the radio people, if you'll weed... It's really not too hot (not as hot as they said it was going to be (over a 100), because there's cloud cover). It's just that the dumb weeds keep coming back and I think I'm losing the battle. Then I have rocks to haul too...if you get tired of weeding. I really will call the radio people...

Just being told my answer to a discussion was being deleted because it wasn't a "quality" response. Of course it wasn't. It was just to let the poster know I wasn't ignoring her post, just that I had no answer for her. I don't care about not being paid for it, but they didn't have to delete it.

I did grocery shopping today at Walmart.. of course I delt with stupid annoying nonsense!! Everything about that store is stupid, annoying, nonsense.. lol.
Saturday my car broke down on me 3 times because the battery terminal was overly corroded. The first 2 times I just had to jiggle the wires and it started back up fine.. the 3rd time the kids and I had to walk home from the playground and hubby later went up to fix it. Saturday was a bad day!

As it happens, a lot of that sort of crud's been happening to me lately. I even have to fight my computer a lot, & I can't figure out how it ate all the email I had lined up & highlighted yesterday, to take care of today. Most of it was stuff I wanted to do here, in MyLot! Grrr! All lost, now! 
But the worst is my bank (though it's not the only place I'm having to deal with dim-bulbs...). Suffice it to say that if I detailed the entire epic, my desk would tip over from the weight, & it's hard to believe, anyway (OK, short version: my bank is supposed to be collecting $50 a month from me to pay off a debt, but I hafta call them every frikkin' month to remind them?!) 
. Anyway, no-body's really interested in a long rant! 
The funny thing is, I do find other folks' troubles interesting. It's just that mine seem so dull next to others'! LOL!

Oh, it does, but I prefer to deal with actual humans--especially when trying to figure out glitches like this one! The regular automation just don't cover the kind of bizarre stuff that happens to me!

Yah, that does sound annoying . . . just another silly thing you have to deal with! Today's annoying nonsense - hmmm. So far the day is going ok . . . just have the usual listening issues with the 5 year old - it's just a continued annoyance - ha ha.

not so far yet for me today..but the day is young and i hear city trucks outside.

Hi Dawnald! I don't have so much annoying nonsense. Maybe only a while ago, when I got to repost my comment. And then, it appeared twice. I don't like it when it comes in double. And when I am about to post my response and gets lost into the galaxy...LOL..And unfortunately, I was so confident not to copy paste it for back ups..It's annoying when you have to rethink and rewrite your posts...And I also don't like calling customers services. Especially when they always seem to like to put you on hold. And they come back after lunch break..

It's so right, most of the time is the long ones.. And today, I think this is the most annoying thing that happened to me here in my long years in Mylot...I commented on a discussion that "starting a business is always a gamble"...And gosh, here come another Mylotter, not the poster of the discussion, who gave me a lecture about me putting up a gambling business and being not helpful for the community... And that there is more fruitful businesses than gambling...What???
It was a bit funny, but I am really really really annoyed and a bit hmmmmmmm....
I am not a hater, but no one can blame me...LOL(^^,)

I guess there's always something to be upset about, and often it's the little things that add up to aggravation.
I have an apartment in a complex that was built fifty years ago. I didn't want to pay for an upgraded unit, so I'm stuck with a 50 year old a/c unit. Last week it went out, and then again today. It obviously needs to be replaced, but the owners are not willing.
And . . .today I found out my cell phone only works when it's plugged into the charger. It actually turned itself off, and my daughter was freaking because I take care of her baby and she couldn't reach me.
I'm calm now, but tomorrow I'll have to head on over to the cell phone store.

Well not today, but about the same time last week when this discussion came out, I guess...
I finally managed to reconsolidate my mortgage to a different bank so that my payments would be much lower. Just about last week was supposed to be the payment date from my old bank. Of course there was no money in the account already, as I've already moved it. They charged me an NSF just because they said they didn't get the letter from my new bank that account has already been paid.
I would have worn my own big girl panties, or briefs, and give them a piece of my mind. But instead I just counted my losses and thought myself happy for not paying their exorbitant fees anymore.

"dawnald" can we talk? At my advanced age I really don't want to get upset not that my health is bad but I don'twant it to get that way. I live in Thailand and have to deal with Hawaii from time to time via phone. I am so sick and tired of knowing exactly what I want and having to go through layers of _______. (You fill in the blank.) I feel trapped in this situation. If I hang up in frustion I lose money and still have to call back.etc. If by some chance I do get lucky and get through the first time I still have to punch in the dept. four digit no. and wait, just watching my minutes disappearing in the silence or the elevator music.
Don't you just love "TECHNOLOGY"?

Well, we are having a pool party at my mother's house over the weekend and I figured that since my brother and sister-in-law live over there they would help me to get things ready for the party on Friday evening. However, on Tuesday when we were over there so the kids could go swimming, my sister-in-law comes in from the pool and says, "We have two problems with the party on Saturday. 1. The pool is dirty. 2. The pool is cold." And she refused to skim the pool. So now on Friday evening I have to cut the grass, clean the pool and make sure that the dog droppings are cleaned up. You would think that she would have some sort of respect for her space where she lives.

Internet woes. :) Internet and power play hide and seek here. :) If I have net connection, there would be power outage, which means I have just the UPS time gap. :) The other way round, I can just stare at the system and ask it why cant it manage without a net connection. :) But your day seems to be more frustrating than mine. Sorry about that Dawny. Hope things improve soon enough. Take care. :)

I have an annoying moment when I tried to answer a very important query but couldn't finish explaining because my hand phone reload credit ran out..I was blamed later of avoiding the need to explain.
