Are you satisfied?

Are you satisfied with your job? Is the pay okay? Are you just sticking with your job because it pays the bills? I had a job like that, but then I decided to pursue what I really wanted, which was to be a nurse. Now I am studying to be a nurse and I am very excited to get into this career. If you could go back and change your career, what would you pick?

Hi Elizabethneal, I love my job bur yes it could pay more but I have a young son and the hours suit and my work collegues are great, I am tking a degree at home in Advanced Criminology and done Law a few years ago so once my son is older will go back to a career ather than having a job as such. Well done you for persuing your dreams. If I could go back I would actually study archeology and living on the Jurassic coastline I am in an ideal area for it too. Huggles. Ellie :D

I really do like my job. I like the people I work with and the pay is good. I like working in the agricultural business because it represents the kind of person I am. Congrats on going back to school for nursing. It is a tough job and is often so under appreciated as compared to the doctors. Hope it gives you all the fulfills all of your dreams. As for changing to another career, I don't know of anything that I would rather do currently. Other than be an instant millionaire of course.

Congratulations and good luck! I love my job right now. It's a part time job and I work with kids. I'm going to school to be a teacher.

Since I am a Clinical Psychology graduate, I wanted to be a Psychiatrist. Having a poor economy here in the PHilippines, I know that I wouldn't get a good pay as a starter here. After college, I was so excited to work so I applied and got hired as a call center agent. I am happy but I always told myself that I only had bigger options or if only I had a very rich family that I no longer need to support financially, I'd get that job and still be okay receiving minimum wage everyday. Now, after working as an hr analyst for two and a half years, I've fallen in love and finally got the job I realize that this is the job I'll never get tired of. Hope you find the one you'll love soon.

I've worked with the company for many years now. Yes, I'm satisfied with the pay I'm receiving but I'm not happy. I want to have a work that gives me pleasure at the same time. I want to be an artist which I am doing on the sides but it is not paying as much as I'm receiving with the company I worked for full time. It's very hard to find a job that you will love and at the same time gives you the compensation that you needed.
