Do you have a pet? Is that pet your best friend?

Do you have a pet? If so, describe him or her. Describe your most memorable experiences with that pet. If not, what kind of pet would you like to have and why? I have and orange mackerel tabby cat. His name is Gizmo, and he is one year old. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old, as of last summer. When we first got him, he had blue eyes, but they started to darken and now they are green. When I first brought him home, he was so scared and so tiny, and it took him a while to get confident to run around. The girl I got him from said he was the only orange one, all his brothers and sisters were dark gray and black, and his mother was black. He was always left out and on his own. He has really grown a lot; when he was little, he used to stand on my shoulder like a parrot-now he's just too big=)And he's started to eat a lot.... My most memorable moment with Gizmo is when he used to be so playful, and he never got tired of playing. I would be outside in my apartment balcony, and he would sneak up in a trot, waiting for me to notice him. Whenever I moved even an inch, he would run away, jumping over furniture, practically bouncing off of walls. And he would do this until late late at night, and sleep. Only to wake me up a few hours later, knocking over furniture this time=/

I had a dog named Carlo. Too bad, he was a victim of a reckless driver. I found him one day, hit by a car and lying lifeless. After that incident, I never get a pet again.

I'm so sorry to hear about Carlo. That's the reason why I myself would never get a pet because I know I can never get over that heart break. That's another reason why I don't want to fall in love again because the pain is too unbearable. But I usually tell people that "its better to love then to never loved at all". Easier said than done. May Carlo rest in peace and I'm sure he's always looking after you in Doggy Heaven.

yes, I have pets, my pet is a cat, I have two cats, which maintains is actually my husband, but I take care of the cat. Sometimes I am very angry with the cat, because it always makes noise and is always making a mess. But sometimes I'm very sorry with my cat. Our cats are always locked up by my husband in the cage, because my husband was afraid we lost cat, cat out of the cage only at night, when all doors are closed.

I have a pet cat named Tan (short for tangerine). She is sweet. She always want me to cuddle her. She was just given to us by a friend. My most memorable moment with tan is when we lie down on the carpet and sleep together like sisters! I just enjoy every moment with her. She is the one who wakes me up in the morning (coz she is asking for food!). I am really fond of her.
