adding banners and links to my home page

Hi everyone -I want to add banners and links to my profile to link to all the articles I've written and also my blog-this is what I was advised to do to potentially get more viewers but I can't for the life of me work out how to do it
can anyone heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!
