Hi liftyouup, I still remember the days when my niece as well as my son were going to have their first school days before. I let them to watch videos about how kids having fun with new friends during the first day in school. This could rouse the interest and fun toward happy school life. After watching these they couldn't help but looked forward to going to school as soon as possible It's more important that we should always encourage kids to approach and make friends with their new school mates. They could begin doing this from kids who are near to them. Once they have new friends they would have lots to share with and will fall in love with the new environment for sure Take care and happy posting

it was my problem before, i had this first day fear because i don't know how to make friends. but what i did is to smile to every people i saw, just to make them think that i'm not 'snobbish' or unfriendly. but i try to talk to some of them too or i would ask some questions to start a conversion with them.

I am usually someone who talks a lot and I remember I had made a lot of friends in the first day itself when I got to the college, it was fun and when I started speaking then one by one started too and we talked about our names, our places and about the school too.

I cant remember my first day of school in college. All I know was that I was so nervous that I didnt want to attend my classes. When I was in college, it was my first time to be away from home and I was comfortable so I get to have asthma attacks cause I was anxious. But good thing I was able to adjust a few months later.

Just try to be really outgoing and talk to as many people as you can. Try to join clubs at school so you can meet more people. Be friendly and other people will be friendly back. Good luck on your first day!

I usually talk to every person I can. If I'm lost trying to find my classes, I'll find someone and ask them and if they're going the same way, continue to talk to them. Good luck! Communication is the key! Don't be anti-social.
