which came first? chicken or egg?

we used to have this funny debate way back in high school. which came first in planet earth? chicken or egg? i won't share my answer first. i want to know your opinion about it. :D

Depends on you beliefs in evolution vs God creation. I would say that the chicken came first as God created all living things. And even in both of those theories it would be easier to say that the chicken came first, as in the theory of evolution the chicken would have been some mutated form of a prehistoric bird. So what is your theory on this?

I believe God created animals after he created the world. So same as your idea, for me, chicken came first then they laid the eggs. :)

Hmmmmm.... if you ask me, there could never be one if the other was not around... but as we all know, the world was sunk in waters during the time of Noah. Noah was asked to carry 2 of each kind of animals, a male and a female, in order to allow recreation once the great flood is done...
So here's my reply, the CHICKEN definitely comes first before the egg... because at that time of recreation, Noah didn't carry an egg with him in the ark...
But there might be other versions of answer for your query... ^_^
