First of all anyone who wants to lose weight needs to exercise and eat a well balanced meal. Cut out all the junk food like sweets and excess carbs. Also starving yourself won't help you lose weight because you'll gain it all back. By exercising you can gain more muscle. Muscle is vital in weight loss because the more muscle you have, the faster you'll be to shed the pounds. Make sure to be consistent with your workouts. Try to set up a schedule where you are able to work out at least 3-4 days out of the week. If you aren't used to exercising, keep your workouts simple in the beginning. Maybe do a light jog and do a little bit of weight training. After you do that, try to progress by extending your workouts.
