I dont know the specific circumstances, and i sure as hell wont pretend to be a love doctor. What i will say is, being a guy and having gone through something similar, i think every woman is different. With that being said, maybe she picked that other guy due to, his financial stability. Maybe she picked him over you for the reason she stated: 'she was afraid to leave him.' Whatever the case, i know from personal experience you probably deserve better than a woman who picks another guy over you. Lifes too short for what couldof beens, as what ifs. The fact of the matter is she didnt pick you. And once that really sinks in, yes its going to piss you off. But at the same time, thats the first step to moving forward and finding someone who will appreciate you, pick you, and above everything else love you, and only you.

I think the girl does not love you because if someone is in love he/she will never think of the consequences but will go further in loving that person, me and my boyfriend had many problems as we are of different religion so we waited for more than four years to be accepted today by our parents. So love waits, love cares, love should be genuine.

Things were not just not meant for you both, if she indeed love you she will choose you. No reason is needed for loving. Good thing that she was just honest with what she feels,true love grows and tested by time and decisions that we make. it is not just the feeling but it is coupled with the action.
