FINALLY some good news...

Yesterday was a particularly bad day for me...I have been arguing with my electricity provider about me having a pension discount - they say I do but it's not noted on my electricity bill & I have told them I'm not paying until they can issue me a bill that says otherwise. After all that done & doing my bill budget - that got me down because it made me see that there wasn't much money left over for anything else - I work part time plus earn what I can on the internet & hubby has been out of work for 6 months but not from lack of trying...
After being down in the dumps about wondering where I'm gonna find this extra money, out of the blue at about 4:30pm, our cell phone rings for hubby & it turns out that one of the companies that hubby has emailed a resume to is desperate for workers for today & longer!!
So hubby is out at work today for the first time in 6 months!! It's like all my christmases have come back at once & I don't have to worry about where I'm gonna get the money for bills!! It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!!

It is fun dealing with these electricity and phone providers isn't it. 
That is great news about your husband finding work. It will certainly take some pressure off you, that is for sure. Our business has been quiet lately and the pressure of that is taking it's toll elsewhere. This week was our best sales week for a long time, so hopefully the situation is improving here with us too.

Tell me about it I hate electricity companies - or any company that is hard to deal with!! ergon was way easier to deal with than origin!! I hope your business picks up...my hubby is a scaffolder.

I thought that he must have been in the construction industry. That industry has suffered a bit over the last 2 years. Hopefully it will rebound now.

Glad to hear that there's such a nice way out from your imminent difficulties. Sometimes life makes us desperate as if there's no way out. But if we don't lose hope, fate won't fail us. Though I don't believe that everything comes with a solution, I do believe that joyful surprises do happen from time to time if we just hang on...
