Celine Dion Pregnant

Having a baby after 35 is a bit risky,in my opinion.You must take special care of your body and your baby,that is really a hard work. I just hope and pray Celine would be healthy and happy,after all,she is my favorite singer.

My mother had me when she was 41 and I turned out all right. I do have a slight learning disability and one of my older sisters seems think it was because mother had me this late. The sad thing about it was, my parrents were in denial about my learning disability and never told me about it. I suspected it over the years, though.

Well I guess it is a bit dangerous but it really depends on the Health of the individual She seems quite Healthy and like you say I hope she will be able to carry these out

I thought about that also and it seems somewhat selfish to me to chance bringing babies into the world with the extra risk. One thing that is good is that you know these people can afford the very best that medicine has to offer.

Many women who have questioned why pregnant at age 30's or 40's are considered high risk. At the age of 40 years, there is some increased risk for the mother (such as high blood pressure and pre-eclampsia) and also for the baby (such as the risk of Down's Syndrome) has increased annually. But, without ignoring these risks, women over the age of 40 years can also kok undergoing a healthy pregnancy and perfect baby. I am one fan of Celine Dion, I pray I hope Celine Dion current pregnancy, and children who are born healthy, as well as her mother.

I don't think it is risky to have a baby at 40. The medical field has really advanced. Celine can get specialized care and the babies can be monitored frequently. There are women who are much older than Celine who have given birth to bouncing babies. A recent example is a grand mother who gave birth at 60 years of age. I am sure she will give birth to healthy bundles of joy. I support her and wish her well during the pregnancies.

I read about Celine Dion's pregnancy earlier this week. She has had a challenging time getting pregnant. I saw a picture of her 9 year old son. Since he was born she had some in vitro treatment but she suffered a miscarriage when she did get pregnant. Therefore this time she delayed saying she is pregnant with the twins. She is 42 years old and so she needs to be careful with her health. I hope that her babies are healthy and she gets a great birthing experience. A twin pregnancy is more complicated that a single baby pregnancy. Premature labor is a possibility and the babies can be small when born. I think that it is better to have a baby before age 40 but it is possible up until age 45 years old with superb medical care.

I don't understand why older women are so desperate to get pregnant. By the time the twins graduate high school, she will be 60 and her husband will probably not be in the picture at all--he's much older than her, right? I think it's a bit selfish, not thinking of the quality of the parenting you'll be able to provide to young children. But it's her life and she has the money for it so I wish her the best.

All I can really say is good for her. I was aware that she has tried to get pregnant again within the last year, and I'm kind of glad for her that she was able to do so. I hope that everything goes well for her.

Hello my friend lelin good day. You're right my friend. there were lots of people I've known who had their pregnancy at this age and the result was they were delivering their babies abnormally. Not all but majority really does. It is really so pity seeing those children. A burden of the parents and what if the parents would be gone first whose gonna take care of the baby? In my country, having a baby in 30 years old are risky. and forty is more risky. but if she can handle it with always checking her pregnancy to the doctor and having a balance exercise and great food, i believe she can giving a birth in normal just like them in age 20

WELL,for Celine Deon, maybe she already finish to consult to her doctor before deciding to make her pregnancy..she will never make this if she knew that it can cause to her in a bad condition.. after all Celine Deon, is rich so they can afford to do everything for their own good..

Well that pretty amazing that Celine is pregnant now. She even retired in her career for her to concentrate and focus for her pregnancy. I just wish her well and best of luck. I know she can do it.

So a new heiress or heir of a great voice will be born. I think it will not risky if she will take a proper guidance and proper care and medication

my mother had my two sisters at age 42 and 43. i was still in elem that time. i hate the idea of her being pregnant. the most of it is that i was afraid of the risks she had to take because of her age. to make the story short, my mom was able to manage them and with god's grace, they're all fine now so far. i guess, it's just a matter of self-care and faith.

Wow! I am happy for Celine Dion! But I think with her financial status; she might have the Ace of Ace of medical doctors looking after her. And they might have a very elaborated plan on the pros and cons of the pregnancy. We don't know, she might have an on stand-by 24/7 ambulance or helicopter. It is a bit risky. But I think at 40 and if she is healthy and take a lot of rest. I hope the margin of her child having disabilities is slim, hopefully. But there are cases where a lot of genetic disorders also appears. I am sure she would love them anyway. She seems so nice and so patient. I like her so much as a singer, for just the presence she has on stage with Andrea Bocelli. It's almost divine and extraordinaire. (^^,)

Hi, lelin1123. That is wonderful news Celine is a very beautiful and strong woman. I just pray that her twins comes out very healthy and beautiful. Having a baby at this age can be risky, but I pray that her babies will be healthy and strong.

I sure hope she is able to have these twins w/no problem. It is risky but i'm sure she will have the very best in care that u could get. I just hope they are born healthy.

you are right, it's quite risky for both the mother and child, however, Celine has all the care that she will need, I think she and her twins will be alright. I love Celine Dion, I'm a great fan of her. I really do hope that she'll be okay during and after her pregnancy. The twins will definitely bring happiness to her family.
