With netbook you can do a very basic video editing. For example, for netbooks with Windows XP included, you can use Windows Movie Maker to create and edit videos. But you can't use professional software like Pinnacle Studio or Adobe Premiere Pro and you must do video editing in a little screen...

well the advantage of having netbooks are the weight and the time usage. But others no advantage. well after some pondering i think that almost all users of True laptops use it for just surfing and such when not in home and a netbook can do that will less energy usage and weight. But find a netbook that can handle year 2000 programs really well because i know some netbooks that is only for surfing and such.

When netbooks first arrived on the scene, the one question we heard more than any other was, “Why would anyone want one of those?” That is, until they started selling….and selling. One million Asus Eee PCs later, the industry sat up and took notice: Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Compaq and countless others introduced what we now call netbooks. They were also called "mini-notebooks" for a while, but Intel coined the term “netbook,” and that’s the one that stuck. Today, 1 in 10 online consumers has purchased a netbook Netbooks are designed to be secondary PCs for those who already own a desktop or laptop but want ultimate mobility and require more than a smartphone. If you can aford to buy a laptop then I still think they are the best option.

Hi netbooks are basically small, lighter and less expensive laptops. You can use them generally as you would use a laptop but they do NOT have a disc drive, so if you wish to use discs you need an external USB discdrive, these are available here in the UK from around £13 so not too much of a problem They're really handy for when travelling

Netbook is easy to bring anywhere. It is only good in surfing the internet and chatting. But netbook has a limitation. It is not recommended for those who uses software that need more graphics. You can watch videos in netbook.
