After many years of thought last month I have taken a decision to donate my eyes, kidneys and internal useful organs to those who are needed after my death and I am going to get into this contract with some organisations shortly.
Meantime, I have discourage the matter with some of good friends. Many are supported and a few are against it. I will mention that, at the time of event, any one from my family is in need of any organs it should be provided and otherwise, can be provided to anyone who is need.
Those who are discurraged are of the view is that, if I donate my organs the authorities may misuse them and will not reach to the most needed people. The authrities would try to get monetary benefit from it.
What is your feeling on this case. If I donate my organs after my death, will it help someone to get the eyesight? Or will can I help a person who is come back to life? Can I go ahead with my decision to donate?
Your comments are advices are having value at this point of time.
Thank-s

I think that it is a very kind thing to do, I really do, but I do not have any clue as to what would be useful to somebody else after you die. I know I have seen on the TV, that people can donate some internal organs that will help others survive, like, kidneys and liver I think. Also I am sure that a heart is something that will keep another alive. I think the best thing for you to do, would be to go and see somebody who is an expert in this field, so you can find out what is useful, and then you can make your decision knowing all the facts.

Yes, once we are ok with their terms and conditions, as per our mutual agreement, the next formalities will continue. The concerned people should inform the hospital authorities as early as possible so as to remove the organis within the specific time limit. The rest of the deals will be taken care of the authorities.

Yes, your are correct. In normal conditions, for a family these things are more painful and may not accept. But as it is already understood to all and a must thing, I believe all will cooperate.
Thank you dear.

To donate your organs is a very kind and wonderful deeds. You are too generous and has a big heart for others. In addition, let this be done in love and not for anything else or for PRIDE. Apostle Paul told us in the book of Corinthians that "If I give my body to be burned and and not out of love, I am nothing." Faith, Hope, Love... the greatest of them all is LOVE! God bless

can we just donate our organs but we will mention on the contract that our priority are our family, relatives and friends. Of course the contract will not state that. Can you just advice your family that when you die, if the family, relatives or friends do not need some of your organs donate it to the organization instead. So that your family will still be your priority.

Yes, it has mentioned like that. At that time, if any one of my family or my suggested people are required or in need of any usable parts, it is to be provided or replaced. I have given the authority to one of my immediate relative only. He will make sure that all are happening properly and he has to certify the same after the formalities are done. Also, it is mentioned that if I willingly want to donate any organ to a person (may be required at that time) can be trans planted.
I mean to say, suppose I know that one person who is in need of kidney and suffering from some problems for years and not yet got a donor, and I can nominate his name, if they are willing, they can adopt and use. There are certain other provisions also are included.
Thanks for your concern and rethinking.
Regards,

It looks harder. But if we think openly, it is very simple.
What we are losing?? Nothing, only gains.
Is it true?
I feel so.

I think organ donation is a noble cause. It feels good that a part of you lives, long before you had gone and that somebody's life had benefited from it. I still need to get a donor card but I have already expressed my wishes for organ donation to my husband.

Hi dear,
Thanks for your response.
Yes, it is my wish and as you said, I am sure that it is really a noble job which make someone else more happy in their life and will ever rembered. As you mentioned, the formalities are different for different countries and with regard to your wish, I think some of your local sites will help you to obtain the donor card and they will guide how to go ahed on it.
Have a nice day and best regards.
Thank-s

This is great.
Here in our country, there also this kind of donation.
Every volunteer had this special Id for them to carry,in case of emergency.
I don't know the overall rules and proper ways of being an organ donor.
I am sure you can be a good help to anyone who will be lucky to have any of your organ.
I salute you for this my friend...you are so great.

I think it's okay to donate your organs. However, you have to make sure it will be protected and will serve its purpose. There are legit NGO's advocating this type of program. You can check the integrity of these NGOs and decide for your self if you wold give your trust to them.

I also like to donate my organ to those in need. I guess you have to communicate and cooperate straight to the hospital. We have here the yellow card if im not mistaken. After you bind with contract with them stating you are giving your organ if you die, they will give you yellow card as proof that you agreed and pledge so your organs will be in the right hand. I hope I will do this sooner.

Yes, we have few organisations who have taken care of all such things. Once we are in contact, they will do the needful. Only concern is that the dependents of the deceased should have to inform the organisation in time so as to perform the surgery within the time limit.
I believe this is the ultimate help a person can do for our society.
Thanks for your comments and guidance.

Ouch! Donating organs to other people who most need it is indeed a DONATION to make only strong and kind people would do. However, I find it odd to know that someone is giving away his parts of the body. It is a form of sacrifice. Though the intention of donation your organ to other people is good, I just can't realize how is it going to work to think that it is yours given by God. For me, I won't donate my organ. That is mine and forever will be mine. That is given to me by God.

yes, i also plan of doing that and still in the process of searching an appropriate organization where i can pledge my organs. you can search in the internet or your local hospital for the appropriate organ bank where you can donate it. then make a will through your lawyer with stating that your donated organ will be donated to deserving people. your lawyer will be in-charge of searching for that deserving person. it's a good cause. i hope you will not be discourage by that. watch will smith's movie 7 pounds, you can get an idea there on how he done it.

Wow Thanks! This is very noble of you. You have just encouraged me to donate my organs as well. I couldnt give my eyes because i have poor eyesight. i guess my heart and kidneys are in good condition.
As for the improper handling of authorities, i wouldnt consider this to discourage me from giving my organs away. You mean well.. If the authorities misuse your organs, that would be bad karma to them.
