There is nothing like a good laugh when you're having problems

Okay, you know if it is a laughing discussion, and it's about cats it HAS to be about Khauy. Bill and I were sitting watching television together on the couch. On my side of the couch is all the projects that I am working on for the fair. Khuay wandered in and out several times, and even had a nap on my lap. But something in the stack of projects he saw something that fascinated him. As he was snooping in the stack of stuff my foot twitched and nudged the phone cord attached to my computer. The cord touched Khuay on the shoulder...that poor cat jumped straight up, his hind feet landed first and they tried to run on the linoleum floor...in the mean time the front part of him was still elevated. His head turned and he saw the cord and somehow managed to jump straight up and landed in the kitchen trash can! He then jumped out of the trash can and ran off. Each time he went by the couch in the family room he ran like crazy. Of course his feelings were hurt because we laughed at him. Bill tried to coax him back into the family room, but Khuay wasn't having any of it. He just passed through again, and he was passing over the phone cord. I play with it with my feet when I am typing on the computer. Well I moved the cord at the same time that his front feet were stepping on it, and he jumped straight up and did a flip from the family room into the kitchen. He landed, gave me a dirty look and ran off. Of course it didn't help that I was laughing at him! It is the best medicine around to have such a clown like Khuay. If the day has been tough there is usually something he does to make me laugh...I'm working on that book about the furry idiot.

Hi Loverbear! I am laughing at him too, but don't tell him! I don't want him to be mad at me too!My cat "Cougar" used to get so mad when we laughed at something he did! He would get this look on his face and strut out of the room! I would always tell my friends not to laugh at him because he was a very "weird, but sensitive cat"! May he RIP on "Rainbow Bridge" he was my only cat that was like this! My two cats that I have now, I don't think they know if you're laughing at them or not! Maybe Luna does, because he is the weirdo cat! But, my cat Star is the Loverboy cat! He is so sweet and loves me so much! He always wants to be in my lap, kissing or touching me! I swear he was something else in my life before, some human that was very close to me! He just won't stay away from me! When I am lying in bed he puts his arm around me! My bf doesn't even do that! I swear I wish I knew if he was my "husband" in another life! I'm serious! I always tell my friends that I'm going to have to "marry Star"! People marry their animals all the time! It's just that to me he is my "special baby"! I hold him in my arms like he is my baby and he loves that! He looks up at me like a baby would! He did that since he was a kitten! My friends think I have lost my friggen mind! I love him so much! He is my baby like I gave birth to him, since I have no kids of my own! But, then I think I should marry him so he knows how important he is to me, but that is just too twisted! I'd rather be his Mommy!

Oh, I am sitting in a motel room, trying to get a little MyLot stuff done, and I am laughing like crazy There is nothing like a snoopy cat to give you opportunity to split your sides. It is almost too much to think of all the trouble he go into and how insulted his cat dignity was. What kind of projects are you doing for the fair?

oh loverbear you and Khuay have made a sad woman laugh aNd feel light hearted again. I could just see your cat the way you described him and he was so funny. I have seen the cats we had do things like that and when you laugh at them they act all insulted. I love the antics they go through and miss not having a cat here but it would raise my rent a hundred dollars which I do not have.Laughter is indeed the best medicine and I feel like a weight has lifted off my shoulders. lol

my cats aren't so funny, but I was trying to replace the bandage on the roomie's foot (new sore down there) and Oliver came in, and got up on my shoulder and was doing the "parrot" bit until the roomie chased him off. It wouldn't be so bad except he weighs about 14 POUNDS! (that's a stone for some of you guys!)

Yep, I knew it had to be about Khauy as soon as I saw the title of this post... Not only do you need to work on that book, but you can up the chance of more money if you'd just get one of those Nanny cameras to get every little thing this cat goes through... The trash can scene would have been a classic...

None of us are perfect. We all have our share of problems to face. If we can laugh while enduring our problems, it can make som of them easier to cope with. Laughter is the best medicine. It can help us in both good and bad times. When you feel frustration coming on, face it with some humor.

That is sure a laugh. I have seen cats do such things. I would like to read about the furry idiot, if it is anything like this. Thank you
