Is it ok with Ipad and Nokia N900?

Hi all, i love to have these two gadgets...i like to surf, to read ebook and the most important thing is that i love working online. Am i right for choosing these two? For all this time...I am using my Acer laptop and my Nokia E61i. And i found that i need to replace both so please help me with the choice. Thanks.
