Prime, you cannot just stop smoking. You have to do it slowly. Try to eat a lot of raw veggies. That normally helps. No sweets. TATA.

Yes I have done the whole nine yards to try and quit smoking. I stopped smoking for 3 months and a shame to say it but I started wright back up on it again. Its not an easy thing to do to quit smoking. At times I think I smoke worse then what I use to so its not easy. Hugs

I heard some withdrawal effect with people who quit smoking.
My brother told me that,he really hard time battling with it.
One thing that help him a lot is lemon juice.
He always drink lemon juice and even eat some.
He says,it helps him overcome with the cravings.
Good luck to you dear friend

I was thinking to quit smoking. Now, I'm afraid to stop because of the withdrawal effects. Hahah... Goodluck to you, prime. I tried it once before but all I do is keep back. The longest time that I tried to stop is for a day. Seeing friends smoke, I can't help it. I know it's a hard habit to break. i hope that if you totally quit you wont come back in smoking. Take care!!!!

Well I am still smoking at least 1 or 2 a day, I guess this would help me, and I guess after 1 month I could have a day complete without even 1....

the withdrawals can be really bad. It shouldn't take too long to get it out of your system. Actually after a week it should be done. The habit part - breaking it- is the more difficult, longer part. But you may just have a cold at this time. But your body may still be punishing you for taking it all away! Good luck, it's a big job to change your lifestyle like this!

Kudos to you bro. I have been trying to quit for some time now and I failed time and
time again. I just don't have the willpower to do so. Especially right now when its
close to the exam period and all the work load piling up every single day. I can't
concentrate studying when the withdrawals kick in, its a major bummer.
The funny thing is, my friends sorta notice this. In group discussions especially
when everybody has to pitch in with some ideas and solutions as to how to solve the
the problem we were given. I usually don't have any bright ideas if it was a couple of hours since I've smoked. But if I just had a puff and participate in the discussion, I usually have a lot to contribute. I guess its because of the withdrawals.
Once again, good luck in your pursuit of being a non smoker.

Hi there! I was a smoker since college. I quit smoking 7 years ago for the reason I got pregrant. It's a matter of will power! If you have the determination, just take all the consequences. However, what helped me quit was I ask God to help me cross the bridge.

Hi there! I was a heavy smoker before! What really motivates me to quit smoking is my kids and for myself too. Quitting smoking is a matter of will power and determination. Just ask God to help you overcome all those temptations and withdrawal syndromes. God bless you and I pray for you too that you will be able to cross that bridge.
