Why edit is prohibited in myLot?

I can't understand why myLot forbids us to edit ourselves' discussion and response. It's annoying that I can't correct my mistake in my posts after I post them. It's hard to find all the mistakes before posting for me, my English isn't very good and proficient.

Beats me I have no idea why they dont allow an edit feature. And I agree with you, while my english is ok my typing is the not good. And there are times where I wish I could go back and correct some mistakes I made or just go back and add to something ive posted. Don't know why they wont add one in, every forum has one except this one. This is the only forum that does not have an edit feature which is not fair and pretty dumb.

thats why theres an option for us to preview our post first before submitting it so we can still make changes with our post before we totally submit it. haven you see it below? theres two option. coz i saw those option in mine.

Several times I have regrets after I press the post response button because of typo mistakes. Sometimes I'm careless or just plain lazy not to check what I have typed. Well, I have seen several similar posts related to this topic but it has still maintained status quo. Maybe it's difficult for mylot admin to take into consieration all the requests (they might have to revamp the system or something), so if the current system is working and it's not a vital issue, they just let it be.
Anyway, after a few mistakes I have learnt to read through my answers first before sending it. Maybe it's better to make it into a habit.
