My mom and brother talk in their sleep all the time. Sometimes it can be just noises or them mumbling phrases. It scares the hell out of me especially at night. They never are able to recall what they dreamed about or what they said. So, what are your stories?

On a mission trip with my church youth group, I had to share a tent with three other girls. On one particular night I was feeling pretty crummy. I was lying awake and I felt so rotten I didn't know if I could ever get to sleep. Then one of the girls in my tent started talking in her sleep. She said something completely non-sensical really really fast. I had to stifle a laugh.
She's the only one I know who talks in her sleep. As far as I know, I don't talk in my sleep. Though when I was younger my mother told me she had an entire conversation with me while I was asleep.

my brother and my cousin are the ones who like to talk in sleep..it's not like they do it purposely but i happens when they are too tired..i guess at that time they truly had a deep sleep and they don't realised the things they murmured in sleep..it's not exactly they talk but sometimes it is like they babble things that i couldn't even understand....but it is funny

sleep talking is considered as a sleep disorder where a person utter a sound which he/she is not aware of. I myself have experienced this when i was a child when i was tired for a day's play. I may not remember the words that came out of my mouth but i knew it the next day that i experienced sleep talking.

I think that everyone in my house talks in their sleep, at least some of the time. My kids have been known to hold on full conversations in their sleep. So much so that my husband actually thought that they were awake and just ignoring him as he was telling them to be quiet and go to sleep...until he went into their rooms to check and saw that they were actually sleeping, in separate rooms, and talking to each other.
