Canon is the best brand for digital camera. Do you agree?

When it comes to profession digicam some user reviews says that canon is the most trusted and the best brand of all.
If you disagree, what digicam do you believe is the best?

agree, my friend .. in my opinion, Canon is the right choice for a camera, because:
1. Auto Focus it can run with fast
2. Very low noise
3. The sensor can take itself (400D)
4. The motor auto focus together with camera body
5. Canon? Nice .......

Yeah, the Canon zooms are really good but I really do not like their build quality. Just too much plastic for my taste. They do have great support and international recognition. Also for the price nothing competes with the d Mark I. Awesome camera.
Nikon is just as good and I think better built in general. I am not too much into either brands lens though. They are excellent but seem to lack character.
If I had the time and money, leica would be the way to go. Lack both though unfortunately
