makeup, is that the key to womens confidence?

i been having thaughts lately on wether applying foundation or makeup really does make a woman more confident in herself, i gave up wearing foundation just over a year now and i noticed my confidence is even higher now because i dont have to worry about wether it is on right or does it match my skin tone, i notided my skin has improved quite a lot and sometimes my skin looks flawless.
would YOU ever have the guts not to wear any makeup in public?
if no why is that?
if yes how come?
makeup shouldnt make a woman feel like she HAS to wear it to make her beautiful, beauty comes from inside. Makeup is just a mask that covers up who you are because some women act differently with makeup on.
what is your view on this?

I do agree that some women act differently with their makeup on. I dont wear any makeup when at work---I work at a school.So dont bother to do that.It takes time to wear makeup,and Im also confident without makeup.Makeup can help u look better and cover some flaws on ur face,but thats not the only key to ur confidence.Confidence comes from inside.

It somehow helps because there are many girls who wanna cover their skin's imperfections. My sister always wears makeup because she has many pimple scars, which she hates so bad. She often tells of how she is envious of those girls with really smooth skin.
I personally just use eyeliner and don't wear blusher or eyeshadow because I find them unnecessary. Besides, they give me zits. 
I believe that confidence is great when you are proud of yourself no matter what you look like.

I do put make up just to make me a little bit improved . . It is different when I put make up for I don't look pale.
It somehow adds confidence on me when I am wearing makeup.

make-up may boost your confidence because you know that you have made the effort to look your best. but then that's just external. real confidence comes from within. so make-up or no make-up you should believe in your own abilities and strengths. this inner confidence shine through and people will sense that.

Wearing make up is depends on the girl. Some girl need makeup because without make up their beauty cannot be recognized. Some girls need make up because it is required in their jobs. But I have friends that very confident to face all people around her if she wear make up.

make-up is not the key...it's just one of the many factors that can contribute to confidence. i wear make-up because i'm pale and the products nowadays have skin healing elements and provide protection from the sun. i am not afraid to go out without make-up, what i'm afraid of is what the sun and other elements can do to damage my skin because my face is all bare.
sure, make-up can be a mask but some people wear it to express themselves and there are others who put some on to enhance their already lovely features. i think it really depends on the person...no amount of make-up can save a person with no self esteem and a person with a great attitude can draw in people not because of the make-up she has on.

Makeup and cosmetics, gods gift to men.
It may not be the key to a womans confidence, but it certainly helps us blokes look at some women without going blind.

i dont personally wear make up. maybe just a powder foundation that's all. here, especially im still a university student, when you wear a makeup, people has a different impression on you. they would think of you as a flirty girl that's why i dont wear any make up besides my powder foundation. but when you're working, it's normal. :) happy mylotting!

hi,xx,not only in the case of woman make up...Good dressing for men [with good hair style] and make up for woman gives same level of confidence on them and behave with authentic.It's just psychological feeling and some time it is necessary also to excel our duties and behave with other people.

Makeup was designed to help enhance our natural beauty. Some do need more help than others. Looking and feeling attractive is definitely a confidence booster. I do believe that when women look and feel their best, their confidence is raised tremendously.

There are many that feel better when they use make-up.
I got some girlfriends that never go out not eaven in the yard without make-up because they are afraid of showing their thrue "ugly" face.
Like guys are confident in brute power and muscles, girls are confident with make-up and looking good.
If i had a girlfriend that used a ridicilous amount of make-up i would tell her shes prettier without all that.
But yeah what is a woman without make-up these days to get a hot stud?
and what is a guy without muscles and no super good looks these days?
Most don't eaven pay attention to feelings and the personality of a person.
I kinda hate it to chose a person just for the looks...
