After promising not to eat sweets ,eat lols of sweets.

I have noticed that whenever I thought that from now onwards, I will stop eating sweets ,then on that day I eat usually more sweets than normal days. Is this same happen with you also?

yes. because the more we stop ourselves when we're tempted, the worse it becomes. it also happens to me. :) its ok to eat as long as you control yourself. happy my lotting. :)

im a lover of sweets too so i can really relate with you. there are times when i just want to eat sweets a whole lot and there are times that i don't. its a give and take situation. :)

hi,ras,it is human nature,that if we want to suppress anything,the desire on that will increase abnormally.So your's is the same case and i can say it will happen in many cases.But there are people who strictly stop what ever they decide and for that one should have willpower

Trying not to eat something is just inviting disaster. Whenever, I make an effort not to eat something, that just ensures that I will make an attempt to eat that particular thing more now than ever before. I think there is just something about trying not to eat something, makes it more appealing than ever before. After all, what we cannot have, just tastes better when we do get it for some reason.
That's the exact reason why I never go on diets any more. Trying to keep myself from certain foods, will make me want to eat even more. Therefore, I come off worse than I was before the diet. Therefore, its never a good idea to keep myself from eating anything that I enjoy. It will just make me want it even more. That's just the way it goes I guess.
