I'm paralyzed!

I have a lot of goals. I would like to start working on them, but each time I do, something seems to stop me. I don't know why, but my mind seems to go blank. For instance, it's been my fondest dream for years to win a Palanca Award, a prestigious award for writers in my country, but I never get past the first sentence of the essay that I want to write for the competition. I also want to be an article writer, but I'm too scared to show my portfolio. Sometimes, I find myself too scared to write.
I'd like to overcome my fears. Any suggestions?

Sometimes fear of failur or rejection stops us from realizing our dreams. You just have to believe in yourself. You have to see the goal or dream coming true. Success is within your reach. You have to decide how much you really want something. How much are you willing to risk for it? Don't let fear be an obstacle.
