I like different parts of the fashion in all decades, but I do have a soft spot for the maxi dresses and boho chic looks of the 70's, as well as for a lot of the stuff people used to wear in the 80's.
That said, I don't think either the 70's or 80's were perfect in anyway fashionwise, but they both had some great stuff!
Also the 50's were wonderful, in many ways. I love the Coco Chanel and Christian Dior looks from that time!

I think each decade have their own distinctive fashion mark left behind.for the 60's,the shift dresses and psychedelic patterns left their mark.for 70's the bell-bottom pants made a big return some time in the recent fashion times.the 80's left behind fishnet stockings.the 90's saw the era of grunge dressing.it will depend on your style if which you can totally adapt to.at the end of the day,you dress up with clothes that make you feel comfortable.

I can't say what era but whoever invented the jeans, t-shirt, hoodie and classic tennis shoes is alright in my book. I don't mind dressing up when i have to but the greatest thing is that jeans and t-shirts never go out of style. Jeans is a uniform thing at my job and I love them for that. I love my jeans and tennis shoes. I can do without all the flashy clothing and shoes and jewelery. I am totally okay going to my own wedding and proms and dinner with the president in my jeans and t-shirts!
