I have a few credit cards, but I'm very careful with them. There's always a greater chance of over-spending with those cards because it's a little harder to keep track of spending. I do use cards occasionally, though, to build good credit. I buy the items I need, but I make sure that I have the amount of money in my bank account. I pay off all but a few dollars the first month, and then completely clear my bill by the second month. I don't mind paying a few dollars in interest, since I have to build credit that way. It's always best to pay in cash for the most part, though.

I compeletly agree.
I don't even own a credit card. I don't trust myself hahah.
but on a serious note it is very easy to spend money you don't have and a credit card enables you to do that.

I use credit card most of the time and as long as I can. You are right that we tend to over spend but due to the perks I get like free cinema tickets and free food and rebates that I use my card. Most of the times my office mates would buy using my credit card so we can collect free stuffs. The only problem is you can buy not only what you need but also what you want which is most of the time are luxury in life. I guess I have to practice self control a little more.

I use my credit card mostly for online shopping cause there's no way I could pay in cash. In stores though, I only use credit cards for reward points like in Macy's and Nordstrom. Any other stores I pay by checks. I never pay the minimum amount each month, I always pay in full cause I don't want to pay interest...plus paying in full each month builds up good credit.

I do not even own a credit card for shopping. I do have one credit card and i never use it as i am paying it off and i don't want to even own a credit card because its just like havig money you don't have and then paying it off at a later time plus paying more then you paid for the item because of the interest on it.
I don't go shopping unless i have the money, i believe it is safer that way and you also don't go shopping for no reason. Credit cards aren't the best way to purchase things at all since your paying on them for a couple years and when you go shopping with your debit card or cash your paying on the item that you can afford and have money for.

no..and depend....
most people cannot payback..and have loses of their money...
because they're so clumsy in drawing money...
if you think that you can manage your money or you are not a poor...
so keep it up!...
and generously....avoid using credit...or (-)
- + - = plus your expenses
