I want to buy domains on my own(i have one from a friend) and i want to pay with paypal(no credit card, but i have money on). Where to buy a domain, how does it work? How long does it take and what options do you have when buying for example is php supported and so on. Can anyone help me a little? Thanks in advance, have a great day!

I have been very happy with godaddy. YOu cabn usually get the domaiun ebven cheaper by googling " godaddy codes". I can usually get a $10-$15 domain for $7 by using codes.

The domain itself is just a name. You can try godaddy or yosro. Then you must find an host for your domain. Some free web hosting can do that. Look here for a guide of 400 free web hosts and the scripting they accept : http://www.free-webhosts.com/ You can also pay for your hosting in a site like hostgator.

Thanks friend . Another tip : don't buy a domain and an hosting at the same place. You will have problems later to change your hosting.

Funny thing is that they don't have the .si ending which would be appropriate for my country. Do the different endings like .tv offer different hosting because they are cheaper?

Godaddy.com has great deals and a great support system to get you set up. If you want to work with website programming you could also try ucoz.com or 000webhost.com
