It will damage your ears not sure of the brain. It happens to me that when I was young guy I usually do some radio sounds near my ears so loud that even my neighbour really got mad at me. It's too late now that I realized that it will damage my ear now my left ear can't heard so much, with a ringing ear (tinnitus disease ) even maybe my brain as well because I have dizziness all the time when I went to specialist he recommended me too exercised my head going up and down and sidewards. He told me that I have not balance in my ears and brain connections.

yea..i have same feeling 2!....when i hear a music nonstop for 24 hours...so i'm getting hot in my ears, and feeling so wavess and vibrate in my eardrum..
so nowadays im not hearing music that much, just hear in a laptop speakers even hear with headphone more surround.
so everyone must avoid it...
