later on today/tonight. Yes, I'm talking about OreoCookie3. I just talked to her over the phone in her hospital room and she told me that it all started on the 25th at Target and it progressed from there. Her tongue became paralized, she couldn't speak the words she wanted to say, her mind would go blank and she couldn't remember anything. With all the tests that the doctors have done, they haven't been able to find anything however, the neurologist hasn't talked to her yet but will before she leaves the hospital, be it tonight or tomorrow. She's to keep a diary of all she eats and medicine she takes to help her keep track of all she's suppose to do. Please continue to keep her in your prayers!
Oreo! Please get well! We all love miss you!!

I don't think I know Oreo, but I will pray..You said her tongue is paralyzed and she is having trouble speaking, did she have a stroke?

Oh that's good that she's home now..The pre-diabetes isn't that bad, she can control it with a diet..As for the Alzheimer's, I am not too sure, but don't they have medication if it is in the early stages???

I am glad she is doing ok. I wish they could figure it out. I had a friend that had some problems like that but not quite as severe, that was caused by the meds they were taking. I hope she gets some answers. It really has to be scary for her.

Oh my gosh, I didn't know Oreo ended up in the hospital, but I'm very happy to hear she might be going home tonight. I saw her last discussion about having the trouble at the Target store but I didn't know it got progressively worse from there, the poor kid.
I can't believe they can't find nothing out? Maybe the neurologist will have more news for her, and let's hope for the best.
Thanks for mentioning this important update...we all love Oreo!

hi catsanddogs sound a lot like a mini stroke with her tongue going numb and her mind going blank. I surely will keep praying for her and hoping its not a bad stroke. I love her too and miss her a lot. hope she gets better and it does not turn out to be a stroke. my tongue went numb and the nurse here insisted in sending me to the er and after hours of tests they concluded one the numb tongue was what i said it was low blood sugar, and the all gone feeling was from severe UTI infection so was on some really strong antibiotic that made me sick to my tummy after each pill but that went away in a short time. and I was fine in a few days.wonder if this could be from some medical allergy for Oreo.

better at least! And I am happy that she is being released from
the hospital! Oreo, if you read this I'm sending you lots

I will definitely include Oreo in my prayers. I am glad she is okay but I do wish the doctors would work out what caused the symptoms she experienced. It must have been scary for her to find she had no control of her thoughts or speech, Poor Oreo; here’s hoping everything will be fine with her.

I'm glad to hear of this update and that Oreo is coming home. It must be frustrating for her that with all the tests they've done on her they can't find anything wrong. Yes CatsandDogs...she will still be in my thoughts and prayers

MB,
I sure hope she will be ok. I thank you for letting us know. It sure sounds like a stroke to me. That's what I love about Mylot. When a friend is in trouble, we all come together and send her prayers and good thoughts. Would you ask her if you can give me her email address so I can send her an E-card? She may not be able to type for a while but someone can read to her.
Love Ya,
Leenie
