As far as buying clothes is concerned I am not someone who is too bothered by the labels brand or the fashion feel of it... but i am somebody who will buy the clothing that I feel comfortable wearing, and to be honest with you, i do not shop at all the big named shops either. I tend to shop for clothes, at a shop that sells cheaper clothes, but all in my eyes kept up with the fashion, without that big label. As I say I am not fussed about wearing the Label... it is what I feel comfortable wearing that is my priority, but I know others that will go and pay 3 times what I do, for the same kind of thing... doesn't this sound mad to you... and why? because she has to have designer label. I just don't get it, I am sorry to you all out there who are the same as my friend, this is not a nasty post just something that crosses my mind on occasions.

Hi Rosie I think when you are younger and before children you can go and buy the odd degner item but I myself shop where the bargains are and these days friends and I will swap clothes also. I was lucky recently as I was given a 40% off vouvher for Peacocks and treated myself to as much as possible whilst I had it, leggings, tops, shoes, tshirts for my son etc. It was great fun and something I hadn't done in a while. I go for comfort too. Huggles. Ellie :D

Yeah I am the same with peacocks clothing... I get most of my clothes there, or also Asda, because the george range in also really cheap, especially for the kids. I spent almost £100 in peacocks a couple of months ago, and I had stacks of clothes to show for it, pretty impressive.

Hi Rosie!
I used to be so brand conscious when I was still single specially when I was in College. I guess it was for the reason I still don't know the value of money during that time. I don't have to work for it and I only ask for cash from my parents. If I'd want to buy something I just have to ask my parents for the money.
There was even a time when my Mom told me that the money I spend everyday just for a coffee and cinnamon is equivalent already to a basic daily income of a regular employee in our country. I did not really care that much as long as I wear a branded shoe, dress, bag, etc.
However, everything changed when I had a child and became a wife. I realized there's a lot of more important things to spend the money with. It's when I became practical also in buying clothes and other things. Now, I no longer care if my outfit is branded or not as long as I'm comfortable with what I'm wearing, it looks good on me and still fashionable. I realized that you can look good and be fashionable without needing to spend that much. Happy Mylotting!

I have always been fairly eas y to please. I am not that particular. I have had a lot of inexperience with having to get by with what i had been given. Being particular was not always a choice to make. I have learned through the years that being particular about something doesn't always guarantee happiness.

Yes i agree with this. Actually, i really love shopping at Ukay2x. If you really know your fashion, you can find a lot in ukay2x. It doesn't matter for me if where you bought it, as long as you wear it comfortably and in fashion as well. I feel happy if i can drop in an ukay2x store because one reason is i can buy lots of dresses in a cheaper price.

When I buy clothes I check the label, because I know that certain clothing manufacturers make clothes that fit me better. It is not about the price because I am the type who will not turn my nose at a higher priced brand and then buy something more reasonable if the latter item does not fit right and is not in the right color. I think that is just as much snobbery as buying something that is expensive and yet does not look good, but because it cost more, etc.
Of course, if I find that particular brand at a thrift store - that is something that cost over one hundred dollars originally and now cost less then $50, I am very happy.
Now I have to wear large sizes any so if I find that large sized over three times lower because some other person gave it away, for me that is a somewhat miracle.
