I know, I've seen the wildlife that was rescued and it was really shocking! I'd probably just end up crying and losing hope if I were the rescuers. They're tough that they could still continue on rescuing those birds that I am sad to say won't really have much hope left to live.
Further, as a suggestion, I know it's a big task, but isn't oil better taken or captured when it's in solid form? I mean, I cook and I know that oil could be stored better if it's kept in the refrigerator. Why don't they do something to freeze up the oil part-by-part? I don't know, perhaps it could work.

IIDaRrElLII,
".. to try and get them to listen and maybe even take action!"
Well, in the first place this would be alright if the owner of BP wants to listen but unbeknown to you Tony Hayward BP' s boss is going to shell out £6.8billion of payouts to shareholders this year instead of paying for the clean up.
These people should be arrested, thrown into jail and that the government should take over the company to sort out the damages.
