Hatin on Nickelback

Ok is it just me or does everyone i know hate on nickelback? I personally like them, think theyre a very talented group. They have hard rock songs, and softer stuff too. They come out with hit after hit, year after year. So why all the hard feelings?

A lot of people I know dislike Nickelback because A LOT of their songs sound the same. They use the exact same chord progressions in A LOT of their songs and sometimes only alter a minor thing here or there if anything at all. Also, Chad's voice is kind of grating and there are a lot of people who sound similar to him except better (at least in my opinion). For example, Daughtry to me sounds VERY similar to Nickelback, but he has a better voice.

Yes, i agree with alot of that. BUT dont they write theyre own songs? Dont they make hit after hit? I agree with you the same old thing gets, well, old. My thing is theyve been popular for so long, made theyre livelyhood off music for so long, i just give them alot of credit. I guess i have alot of respect for them the most as song writers.
