Give me real China and Chinese people--How much do you know about China?

In our city here in the Philippines, we have a lot of Chinese people, Chinese schools, and businesses run by Chinese. We can say we know a lot about their culture and that some of them who are living in our country are slowly opening their doors to modern influences. Although there are still quite a few who stick to their traditional culture, but this is not a problem in so far as living in our community is concerned since we have also taken up large doses of Chinese culture into our own. I see no problem there.

You mentioned "opening door to modern influences", but it's a totally wrong view about Chinese. Young Chinese are exactly as open minded as the western people. They actually embrace all cultures especially western one. Instead I have seen that many Chinese have abandoned their own good traditons which they should stick to, like resepct for elders,diligence.If you have a chance you should come to China. It's exactly the same as the big cities as New York, London and etc.
