I have had three home births that have been natural. I had a teenage son born fifteen years ago, a toddler boy three years ago and a daughter one year ago. I know a newborn baby needs to be fed his mother's milk every three hours day and night. He or she needs to have diaper changes. He or she needs a baby bath. A newborn or young baby needs head support when the mom or guest holds the baby. Many babies enjoy listening to quiet music. It is important to let a baby have age appropriate toys. Like they could be a soft bell, a soft doll and a soft teddy bear. For the first five months a baby likes to have a cot mobile that has lights and plays a melody. Some mothers feed their baby with their own milk and other moms use baby formula.

I gave him to his mother.
It is a simple thing to care for a baby, feed them, by either place their mouth to your nipple, or mixing formula in a bottle. Wash them in luke warm water, and hold them a lot, and change their diapers a lot.
The most important thing with the little babies, is to support their necks, the necks are quite fragile so always be holding the back of the babies head, and neck, and their back at the same time, until they develop the muscles themselves.

You can buy some books about it. And you must read through thoroughly before you have the baby.Good luck.
